Thank you for joining the INAPTA & KPTA 2018 Joint Conference on September 21-22 at Bellarmine University (2001 Newburg Road in Louisville).This is the premier educational and networking event for PTs, PTAs and students in Kentuckiana. Unless otherwise noted, all events are held on the campus of Bellarmine University. Below are some helpful resources to maximize your experience at the event:

Research forum

The Research Forum will be held Friday, September 21 from 5:00PM-7:00PM in Allen Hall, room 460 (#24 on the campus map). During the Research Forum, posters will be displaying current and local research from both Indiana and Kentucky. Please take time to visit the posters and chat with the authors of the studies. A complete list of the posters can be accessed here. At the conclusion of the forum, a shuttle will transport attendees from the research forum to the opening reception.


Opening Reception: exhibits-auction-food

The opening reception will be held on Friday, September 21 at 7:00PM in Frazier Hall (#5b on the campus map). Please click here to view a map. Parking is available in Lot L3.


A dinner buffet will be provided. Exhibit booths will be placed throughout the facility for you to peruse. We will be providing a card to each registrant asking you to have the vendors sign off when you visit their booth. You can then return the card to the Registration Desk and be entered to win several gift cards.


Both IN and KY will be having a silent auction this year to support their respective PACs. There will be some great items to bid on! Cash, check and credit card will be acceptable means of payment for items bid on and won. The PACs are also sponsoring Beer, Wine, Bourbon and Chocolate Tastings. You can sign up for this onsite if you did not do so in advance.

snf forum & sig meetings


Whatever your interest, we have something for you! Join other early birds on Saturday, September 22nd from 7:00AM-8:00AM in Allen Hall and choose your topic: The New Payment Model for SNFs, Orthopedic, Pediatric, Early Professionals or Students. Please view the Saturday agenda for room assignment. Breakfast will be available in room 260 for you to grab and take to your meeting (or stay in room 260 for the SNF Forum).

kpta awards luncheon & business meeting


During the lunch break, please join us in Allen Hall, room 360 for KPTA's Awards Luncheon & Business Meeting. A boxed salad or sandwich lunch will be available for registrants. Learn about the issues KPTA is addressing, meet candidates for office, and celebrate the accomplishments of our 2018 award winners. CEU Certificates will not be available onsite. They will be available through the APTA Learning Center (you do not have to be a member to access your certificate, but will have to create an account if you have not already done so). Please see below for information on how to retrieve your certificates following the conference.


 To claim your CEU credits:


  1.  Please login to your APTA Learning Center account (or create an account) at
  2.  If you do not know your login information, please contact member services at 800/999-2782 or Typically, your user ID will be your APTA member ID or email address. If you do not remember your password, please use the Forgot Password link. 
  3. Once logged into the APTA Learning Center, highlight My Learning Activities, and click on My Courses.
  4.   Locate the desired course and click the Evaluation button.
  5. After completing the evaluation, click on the Certificate button.
