Wendy will discuss the evolution of physical therapy; identifying barriers to progress and spotlights areas for advancing the profession that will enable therapists to thrive. The meeting will be held at the Norton Brownsboro Campus - Medical Plaza 1, 3rd floor, Community Room B.

Presentation Description:

As Alternate Delegate I listen to colleagues discuss concerns about the profession. This collaboration has enhanced my understanding of the importance of "Unity Consciousness" within the profession. Our goal is to build a strong infrastructure that supports practitioners to improve the health of society. We have made great advances within the organization. Although many therapists express sentiments of surviving not thriving, the profession is moving forward. This presentation discusses the evolution of Physical Therapy, identifies barriers to progress, and spotlights areas for advancing the profession so all therapists can thrive.
